Megan Garrett: Our compassionate founder

Meet Megan Garrett, the driving force behind Full Pawtential Rehab. A lifelong resident of Pineville, LA, Megan sought a way to give back to the community that has nurtured her family for generations. With years of experience as a dog owner and a background working in veterinary kennels, her profound love for dogs and concern for the local dog overpopulation crisis inspired her to create Full Pawtential Rehab.

Merida: The canine co-founder

Every great team needs a loyal companion, and Merida is ours. This beautiful mix of husky, malamute, and pit bull was once an adopted dog herself. Her stable temperament and gentle nature are invaluable assets, helping foster dogs socialize safely and learn the ropes of positive interaction. Merida is truly the dog half of our dedicated team.

Megan's role: Building trust and obedience

Megan's expertise lies in basic obedience training and helping dogs learn to trust humans. She excels at making dogs comfortable with people, ensuring they experience the love and care they deserve. Her dedication helps prepare them for their forever homes, making their transition smoother and happier.

"Merida is a fantastic teacher. She knows exactly how to make new dogs feel safe and comfortable."
